We share the sorrow, and we are united!

As mentioned in the previous post,I could not reach here to post blogs.

Now it's been more than two months since the deadly earthquake in Sichuan Province.

We send our condolence to the quake victims.

We will do our part to help the people rebuild their homes, and make it even better!

James also helped raise the fund.

It has been four years!

PS.What makes me happy too is that I can view blogger blogs for now.
I can't view this site for more than a year!

Facebook

I applaud for it.
At least it's better than MySpace.
I think MySpace is a bit chaotic and confusing and when I log on it,I feel the urge to log off.
There are too many promotions there.
Maybe many stars are there and you can learn there latest news and probably where their next concert stop will be and...but I really don't feel like it.

When I first learn about Facebook and its description,I thought 'won't it be the same thing as MySpace?'
Luckily I'd always like to have a try on new things (at least newly met things).
And it turns out to be better than MySpace...

And today I found Jennifer Hsiung's profile...

No matter where I am,I am not a very active member.
Need to enjoy life.
Internet is just part of it.

Sometimes I just don't like the CCTV Blog.

1.When you would like the comment you left to be
like this
like this
like this
like this

It will later be come
like this like this like this like this

2.When you are expecting your post would appear after click the 'publish' button, you have to be reminded that you have to wait for a while.

3.You have to be patient to wait to the 'Comment Successfully Pubished' window to come.
When you are not,and click the 'publish' button for several times, you will find the comments repeated.

4.Browser difference
It appears differently.Use Firefox would see a relatively ugly font, but using IE things are not that bad.

However,I did have great time there.
Though the first one listed is still troubling me.

A Cold Winter Day

The page finally loaded successfully and I can blog!

Today I think it's the coldest day this winter by far!

But today we did got some sunshine, and the snow melted.
Well,the water was dirty.
However, dirty water can also reflect the broad sky.
--This thought isn't new,I had it a few years ago.But it always teach me a way to be hopeful and optimistic.

Snow/Ice melt under the sunshine.
At night the tempretures is much lower and it frozed again!
Circles of life.

Aquarius people,me.

When Art Meets Commerce

1.I did not have too much concern in the world of entertainment--the reason is complex and I am not going to talk about that.

I did not know the 'Super Girl' singing competition until my China Daily showed me a group of fan of Zhou Bichang.(I can not tell Li Yuchun and Zhou apart at that time! I simply do not have too much concern on those kind of thing.)

2.This time I was struck with the 'Curse of the Golden Flower' promotion on TV...

When Art Meets Commerce...

The director might have his own thinking of how to make a film. The artistic requirement must be reached,of course.
However,he did consider the market, home and abroad.

It's kind of pleasing the foreign movie goers that he emphasized so much on the oriental elements.
Intended add-ons make me sick.

They all want to enter a greater market. There's nothing wrong with that, because the income is a drive to make directors moving on.No one wants to do that if there's no profit...

So for the profit concerns, the movie lose something.
The movie which truly reflects the real world usually do not sell better.

But the movie in all is for enjoying.

I try not think too much.

Time is so limited...will talk more if possible.

James is not on the box tonight...

Just checked the box and Dong Wei is hosting the Sports Scene.

I can remember that the first time I found James was not in World Insight.
I was in panic and confusion.

That was two years ago.

I thought everything would go as it used to,but I found someone else is hosting the program.
I was sad somehow.

Lovely past days.

When I became old and look back,I wonder what would I feel.

And...

HAPPY HOLIDAY TO JAMES!

IQ test – a real measure of your intelligence?

When was the last time you had an IQ test? I had one online yesterday. (http://web.tickle.com/tests/) The result? 117 points out of a total 130 (or 140, I can’t remember). Not bad, huh? Actually, the report suggests that I scored above average Americans in dozens of states. Well, does that translate to higher intelligence than the Americans? I’m not sure.

According to the report, the careers I could excel include: physicist, chess player, city planner, astronomer, mathematician and researcher…none of which has ever entered my mind as a profession choice.

Ironically, physics and math were among my least favourite and worst performed subjects at school. How could I do a good job in professions that require a high level of knowledge in these fields?

The report also suggests that I need to improve my linguistic abilities, which, as a matter of fact, are much better than my physics and math.

I’m a firm believer in the idea that intelligence is something you’re born with and something can’t be coached or cultivated. No one knows how smart you are than you yourself. Everybody has a talent. The question is how to find the way to put your talent into great use. Once you’ve found it, success will be closer to you than ever before.

Try one of the online IQ tests, just for fun. You’ll be surprised by your better-than-imagined performance.

Cold Weather,Cold Time

Autumn leaves.

It's nice to live in North part of China that we have four seasons.

I spotted some in school.
We should still wait, wait until they all get red.

But should I expect that?

Oh,no.

Please stop.

In fact, often I wish the time can stop.
Then parents don't have to get old.

I wish the time can stop,so that I can do more things.
I even wish the time can draw back,then I can see how I looked like the first moment I arrive in the world;
then I can see myself palying at primary school,or maybe, hit by the careless boy that my knee bled, and see the did-not-cry me,etc.

I am not in a good condition.
Illness makes me think a lot.

I will treasure every moment I have.
No one should deter me,they are not even worth to make you feel upset.

And of course, time will not stop.
So let's embrace Autumn, and then Winter!
